After silent nûn or tanween, before an ikhfa letter, the N is hidden in a nasal sound.
How do I read it?
Do not fully say the N; hold the nasal sound while your tongue gets ready for the next letter.

Remember: Shortcut: if it is not an izhar letter (ء ه ع ح غ خ), an idgham letter (ي ر م ل و ن) or the iqlab letter (ب), it is ikhfa: the other 15 letters.
