How do I read it?
Let the sound come through the nose and hold it for one elif.
Letters: نّ or مّ
Remember: نّ / مّ = nasal sound.
Common mistake: Cutting the sound short, or adding a new vowel after it.
- Idgham and Ikhfa have a nasal sound too; you learn them in Silent Nûn and Tanween.
