Remember: Shortcut: قُطْبُ جَدٍّ (qutbu jadd) = the qalqalah letters.
Common mistake: Adding an extra syllable, like “ba”, “ja” or “da”.
- It also happens when you stop on one of these letters at the end of a word, because stopping takes its vowel away.
